Creations By Chris

Looking for the special little something as a gift or for yourself? You will find it here. There's something for everyone. I create jewelry items that are very reasonably priced starting at $.50 for a spacer bead to $20.00 for a necklace and earing set. Most items are priced from $3.00 - $12.00.
I will be offering weekly specials so check the website and the Market's Facebook page.

A portion of all my sales is donated to various local and international organizations who support the disadvantaged. This year 25% of all my bracelet sales is going to Hospice House in Kelowna and also to organizations whose mission is to respond to the needs of people who are experiencing, or are at risk of homelessness.

For many years I volunteered in a Orphanage in Cambodia, a refugee camp in Thailand and many remote villages in Bangladesh, Laos and Indonesia. I started making jewelry to sell to friends and at craft shows as a way to fund my trips overseas and raise money for these overseas projects.

Turning A Hobby Into A Business

How my hobby turned into a business?

I worked for over 25 years in Health Care spending the last 13 years before I retired at Cottonwood Care Centre in Kelowna. I started making lanyards for name tags and earrings which were sold to the staff. When I retired in June 2013 many of the staff asked me how they were going to buy my stuff. I told them that I'd think of something.

Two weeks later "Creations By Chris" was born and I did my first Market at Lake Country Farmers' Market where I continue as a vendor. It has been a learning experience with many changes along the way.
